To the Members of the California State Assembly:

I am returning Assembly Bill 2726 without my signature.

The California Workforce Investment Board is currently engaged with
the local workforce investment boards, key stakeholders and partners
in the collaboration and coordination of programs and services funded
under the Workforce Investment Act of 1998. This bill would
duplicate existing efforts, therefore, this legislation is
unnecessary.

For these reasons, I am unable to sign this bill.
