DESCRIPTION
Current law requires the California Public Utilities Commission
(CPUC) to annually develop a work plan that describes the
scheduled ratemaking proceedings and other decisions that may be
considered by the CPUC during the calendar year.
Current law requires the president of the CPUC to annually
appear before the appropriate policy committees of the Senate
and Assembly to report on the annual work plan.
This bill combines these provisions into a single section of the
Public Utilities Code.
COMMENTS
All of the provisions in this bill are nonsubstantive and
without opposition. In addition, the relevant agency has been
consulted and has expressed no concern. As the code cleanup
bill, the bill does not and will not contain any section to
which any party objects.
