           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates as the "Steve Faris Memorial Highway"  
          State Route 330 in San Bernardino County.

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor costs to Caltrans to make and erect appropriate signs;  
          these costs are covered by donations.  (State Highway Account.)

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  .  The measure honors Mr. Faris, a Battalion Chief with  
          the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, who  
          died in an automobile accident in 2006.
