           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates as the "Senator Daniel E. Boatwright  
          Memorial Highway" the portion of State Route 680 between the  
          Benicia-Martinez Bridge and the on State Route 24 in Walnut  
          Creek (Contra Costa County).

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor costs to Caltrans to make and erect appropriate signs;  
          these costs are covered by donations.  (State Highway Account.)

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors Mr. Boatwright, who served in the  
          State Assembly from 1972 to 1980 and then in the State Senate  
          until 1996.
