           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "CHP Officer Richard D. Duvall  
          Memorial Highway," the portion of State Route (SR) 15 in the  
          City of Victorville between the "D" Street exit and the SR 395  
          interchange.

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor costs to Caltrans to make and erect appropriate signs;  
          these costs are covered by donations.  (State Highway Account.)

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors Officer Duvall, who served with the  
          CHP in Victorville for two years prior to being shot and killed  
          by an escaped convict along the Route 66 on February 23, 1960.
