           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "Officer Russell M. Miller, Sr.  
          Memorial Highway," the portion of State Route (SR) 60 between  
          Mountain Avenue and Ramona Avenue in Chino.

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor costs to Caltrans to make and erect appropriate signs;  
          these costs are covered by donations.  (State Highway Account.)

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors Officer Miller, a 12-year veteran  
          of the Chino Police Department, who died on February 1, 2000  
          after being struck by a motorist while approaching a stopped  
          vehicle.
