Purpose . The National Purple Heart Trail was established in 1992
to commemorate and honor those in the Armed Forces who have been
killed or wounded in combat. To date, portions of SRs 5, 80, and
101 have been designated via concurrent resolutions as part of
this national trail. This measure designates a fourth state
highway as part of the trail.
