           SUMMARY

This bill authorizes a county probation department, when
restitution has been ordered, to provide the California
Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) a copy of
the restitution order and the victim's contact information -
pending the victim's consent. Contact information shall remain
confidential and shall not be made part of the court file or
          combined with any public document.

           FISCAL EFFECT

Minor nonreimbursable costs to local probation departments to
provide restitution orders and victim contact information to
CDCR - information generally readily available - pending victim
