   An act to amend Section 25003 of the Government Code, relating to
local government.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   SB 664, as introduced, Cogdill. Local government: counties.
   Existing law authorizes the board of supervisors of a county to
make and enforce rules and regulations necessary for the government
of the board, the preservation of order, and the transaction of
business.
   This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to this
provision.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 25003 of the Government Code is amended to
read:
   25003.  The board may make and enforce  any  rules and
regulations necessary for the government of the board, the
preservation of order, and the transaction of business.
