An act to repeal Article 4 (commencing with Section 25420) of
Chapter 5 of Part 2 of Division 2 of Title 3 of the Government Code,
relating to local government.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
SB 1042, Walters. Local government: counties: acquisition and
conveyance of lands for military purposes.
Existing law authorizes the board of supervisors of a county, to
acquire by eminent domain, and convey lands to the United States for
any military purpose authorized by any law of the United States, and
authorizes the board to incur an indebtedness evidenced by negotiable
bonds of the county for these purposes.
This bill would repeal those authorizations.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Article 4 (commencing with Section 25420) of Chapter 5
of Part 2 of Division 2 of Title 3 of the Government Code is
repealed.
