           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "Deputy Dennis "Skip" Sullivan 
          Memorial Bridge," the Bear Creek Bridge along Highway 44 in 
          Shasta County.

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor costs to Caltrans to make and erect appropriate signs; 
          these costs are covered by donations.  (State Highway Account.)

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors Deputy Sullivan, who served with 
          the Shasta County Sheriff's Office for six years before being 
          killed in a traffic collision on October 10, 1987.
