           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "Deputy Probation Officer Irene 
          B. Rios Memorial Highway," the westbound segment of State Route 
          8 between mileposts 4.6 and 6.6.

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor costs to Caltrans to make and erect appropriate signs; 
          these costs are covered by donations.  (State Highway Account.)

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors Officer Rios, who died in the line 
          of duty on August 13, 2008.
