           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "Corporal Jared Verbeek Memorial 
          Overcrossing," the South Giddings Avenue overcrossing on State 
          Route 198 in the City of Visalia (Tulare County).

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor State Highway Account costs to Caltrans to make and erect 
          appropriate signs; sign costs are covered by donations.  

           COMMENTS  

          Purpose  . This measure honors Corporal Verbeek, who died on June 
          21, 2011 from wounds sustained in combat in Helmand province, 
          Afghanistan.
