SUMMARY : Declares the month of May 2012 as Child Safety
Awareness Month. Specifically, this resolution makes the
          following legislative findings:

1)There are 6.8 million school aged children in California; and,
the safety of those children is paramount and should be a
            concern for all.

2)When a child is missing, the child's parent or guardian should
report the disappearance to local authorities as soon as
possible; and, to be as effective as possible, a parent or
guardian should have an American Football Coaches Association
(AFCA)/Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Child ID
Kit available that includes a current photo and detailed
information to give to law enforcement and should file a
            missing person's report.
