   Existing law requires the State Department of Public Health to
administer various programs related to children's health.
   This bill would declare the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation that addresses chronic health issues facing children.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation that addresses chronic health issues facing children.
