An act to repeal Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 10600) of Part
2 of Division 2 of Title 2 of the Government Code, relating to state
government.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
AB 1458, as introduced, Huber. Joint Legislative Retirement
Committee.
Existing law establishes the Joint Legislative Retirement
Committee to study and review the benefits, programs, actuarial
condition, practices, investments, and procedures of, and all
legislation relating to, the retirement systems for public officers
and employees in this state and the trends and developments in the
field of retirement.
This bill would repeal those provisions.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: yes.
State-mandated local program: no.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Chapter 5 (commencing with Section 10600) of Part 2 of
Division 2 of Title 2 of the Government Code is repealed.
