           SUMMARY  :  Requires the Department of General Services (DGS) to 
          report on business participation levels by lesbian, gay, 
          bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) owners in contracts, as 
          specified, beginning January 1, 2013. 

           The Senate amendments  are technical and clarifying in nature. 

           AS PASSED BY THE ASSEMBLY  , this bill required the DGS to report 
          on business participation levels by LGBT owners in contracts, as 
          specified, beginning January 1, 2013.

           FISCAL EFFECT  :  According to the Senate Appropriations 
          Committee, pursuant to Senate Rule 28.8, negligible state costs. 


           COMMENTS  :  This bill was amended in the Senate and is consistent 
          with Assembly actions.
