   An act to amend Section 312 of the Code of Civil Procedure,
relating to civil actions.

   AB 2255, as introduced, Donnelly. Civil actions.
   Existing law requires civil actions to be commenced within
specified periods, after the cause of action has accrued, unless an
exception applies.
   This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 312 of the Code of Civil Procedure is amended
to read:
   312.  Civil actions, without exception, can only be commenced
within the periods prescribed in this title, after the cause of
action  shall have   has  accrued, unless
 where  , in special cases, a different limitation
is prescribed by statute.
