   An act to amend Section 33534 of the Education Code, relating to
state educational commissions.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   AB 2592, as introduced, Furutani. State educational commissions:
Curriculum Development and Supplemental Materials Commission.
   Existing law establishes the Curriculum Development and
Supplemental Materials Commission and, among other things, requires
the Superintendent of Public Instruction or his representative to
serve as its executive secretary.
   This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to that
provision.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 33534 of the Education Code is amended to read:

   33534.  The Superintendent of Public Instruction or his  or
her  representative shall serve as executive secretary to the
commission.
