           SUMMARY  

          This bill makes various technical, conforming and compliance 
          amendments necessary for continued effective administration of 
          the California State Teachers' Retirement System (CalSTRS). 
           
           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor costs for CalSTRS, offset by minor administrative savings.

           COMMENTS  

          1)According to CalSTRS, the sponsor of the bill, AB 2663 makes 
            various technical and conforming changes to the Teacher's 
            Retirement Law to facilitate efficient administration of the 
            retirement plans.

           2)There is no registered opposition to this bill  .
