           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "Martinez Police Sergeant Paul 
          Starzyk Memorial Overcrossing," the Pine Street overcrossing of 
          State Route 4 in the City of Martinez (Contra Costa County).

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor costs to Caltrans to make and erect appropriate signs; 
          these costs are covered by donations.  (State Highway Account.)

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors Sergeant Starzyk, a 16-year veteran 
          of the Martinez Police Department who was killed in the line of 
          duty on September 6, 2008.
