           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "Deputy Daniel Lee Archuleta 
          Memorial Interchange," the interchange of State Route 99 and 
          State Route 119 (Kern County).

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor State Highway Account costs to Caltrans to make and erect 
          appropriate signs; sign costs are covered by donations. 

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors Deputy Archuleta, who, while on 
          duty with the Kern County Sheriff's Department, was killed in an 
          automobile accident on September 12, 2004.
