           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "Dana Cowell Memorial Highway," 
          the portion of State Route 12 between Potato Slough Bridge and 
          State Route 5 in San Joaquin County.

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor State Highway Account costs to Caltrans to make and erect 
          appropriate signs; sign costs are covered by donations. 

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors Mr. Cowell, who served 26 years at 
          Caltrans and afterwards was a member of the San Joaquin Council 
          of Governments. Mr. Cowell passed away on January 21, 2012.
