	BILL TEXT

INTRODUCED BY Senator Huff

                        FEBRUARY 2, 2011

An act to amend Section 34100 of the Health and Safety Code,
relating to the community redevelopment commission.

	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

SB 158, as introduced, Huff. Community redevelopment commission.
Existing law creates and establishes in each community, as
defined, a public body, corporate and politic, known as the community
development commission. Existing law creates and establishes the
commission in order that a community may have the option of operating
and governing its redevelopment agency, or its redevelopment agency
and housing authority, under a single operating entity and board.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to the definition of
the term "community."
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
