   An act relating to state property.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   SB 551, as introduced, DeSaulnier. State property: transfer:
Martinez Marina.
   Existing law authorizes the disposition of state property,
including transfer to local agencies, subject to specified criteria.
   This bill would express the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation to provide for the transfer of the Martinez Marina,
currently under the jurisdiction of the State Lands Commission, to
the City of Martinez.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation to provide for the transfer of that property in the City
of Martinez known as the Martinez Marina, currently under the
jurisdiction of the State Lands Commission, to the City of Martinez.
