          Transportation clean-up bill

          DESCRIPTION:

          This bill corrects a chaptering-out error that occurred when two 
          bills amended the same code section.

          ANALYSIS:

          This bill corrects a chaptering-out error that occurred when two 
          bills amended the same code section and one bill, SB 857 
          (Committee on Budget and Fiscal Review), Chapter 720, Statutes 
          of 2010, was chaptered after the other, AB 2499 (Portantino), 
          Chapter 599, Statutes of 2010.  Because the two measures were 
          not double-joined, only the last enacted bill went into effect, 
          SB 857, leaving out the changes made to the same code section by 
          AB 2499.  

           This bill  corrects that error, restoring changes made by both 
          bills.
