To the Members of the California State Senate:
I am returning Senate Bill 1098 without my signature.
This bill would require the California Department of Corrections and
Rehabilitation to provide all inmate classification,
reclassification, and readmission score sheets in its possession to
the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection personnel assigned to
the conservation camp in which an inmate has been placed.
The Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation already provides
classification information on each inmate that participates in a
conservation camp.  Consequently, this bill is unnecessary.
