           SUMMARY  

          This bill requires the California Department of Veterans Affairs 
          (CDVA) to publicize information regarding federal and state 
          benefits available to homeless veterans via printed materials, 
          the departments' web site, and other forms the department 
          determines appropriate. 

           FISCAL EFFECT

           Minor absorbable costs to CDVA, which currently maintains a web 
          site and  an annual Veterans Resource Book. 

           COMMENTS

          Related Legislation  . SB 663 (Correa), also before the committee 
          today, requires CDVA to include in its strategic plan, a review 
          of goals and objectives regarding homeless veterans.
