	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   SB 1507, as introduced, Fuller. Regulations.
   The Administrative Procedure Act governs the process for the
adoption, amendment, or repeal of regulations by state agencies and
for the review of those regulatory actions by the Office of
Administrative Law.
   This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation implementing the recommendations proposed by the Milton
Marks "Little Hoover" Commission on California State Government
Organization and Economy to improve the state's regulatory process.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation implementing the recommendations proposed by the Milton
Marks "Little Hoover" Commission on California State Government
Organization and Economy in its October 2011 report, entitled "Better
Regulation: Improving California's Rulemaking Process."
