           SUMMARY  

          This measure requests that Caltrans issue an encroachment permit  
          for the placement of a marquee at 1345 West Pacific Coast  
          Highway (State Route 1) in the community of Wilmington within  
          the City of Los Angeles.

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor administrative costs (State Highway Account) to Caltrans  
          to provide an encroachment permit for the marquee; these costs  
          are fully covered by donations.

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure provides for a "Welcome to Wilmington"  
          marquee on State Route 1 near the intersection with State Route  
          110.
