           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "Joel Mendenhall Memorial  
          Highway," the portion of State Route 76 from Rey River Ranch  
          Road to County Road S6 (Palomar Mountain Road) in San Diego  
          County.

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor State Highway Account costs to Caltrans to make and erect  
          appropriate signs; these costs are fully covered by donations.

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors Mr. Mendenhall, a cattle rancher  
          who died at age 30 in a ranching accident on September 2, 2013.
