LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL’S DIGEST

AB 999, as introduced, Bonta. Inmates: pilot project.

Under existing law, the Secretary of the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is responsible for the administration of the state prisons.

This bill would declare the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to expand a successful pilot program that was established at California State Prison, Solano.

Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation to expand a successful pilot program that was
established at California State Prison, Solano.
