Section 19137 is added to the Government Code,
27to read:
(a) The Department of General Services shall establish
29and maintain an online database of personal services contracts that
30is accessible to the public, searchable, sortable, and downloadable.
31The database shall include all of the following:
32(1) Description of the personal services contract and services
33being purchased.
34(2) Name of the department, agency, or division contracting for
35the service.
36(3) Name of the contractor and any and all subcontractors.
37(4) Effective and expiration dates of the contract.
38(5) Annual amount paid to the contractor in past fiscal years
39and the current fiscal year under the contract, by funding source.
P4 1(6) Annual amount proposed to be paid to the contractor in the
2fiscal years beyond the approved budget.
3(7) Total projected cost of the contract for all fiscal years, by
4funding source.
5(b) The Department of General Services shall compile the
6information listed in subdivision (a) in an annual Personal Services
7Contractor Expenditure Budget accompanying the Governor’s
8Budget, detailing total spending on total personal services contracts
9for California state government.
