AB 1885, as introduced, Bigelow. Public buildings: access: disabled persons.
Existing law declares the intent of the Legislature that state building standards relating to access to public buildings by the physically handicapped and other specified regulations adopted by the State Architect be used as minimum requirements of accessibility and functionality for the physically handicapped, without loss of function, space, or facility for the general public.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.
Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.
