Existing law requires boards within the Department of Consumer Affairs to meet at least 3 times each calendar year, with at least one of those meetings occurring in northern California and at least one of those meetings occurring in southern California.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
Section 101.7 of the Business and Professions
2Code is amended to read:
(a) Notwithstanding any otherbegin delete provision ofend delete law, boards
4shall meet at least three times each calendar year. Boards shall
5meet at least once each calendar year in northern California and
6once each calendar year in southern California in order to facilitate
7participation by the public and its licensees.

3showing of good cause that the board is not able to meet at least
