An act relating to career technical education.

AB 2033, as introduced, Salas. Career technical education: agricultural career technical education.

Existing law establishes, within the State Department of Education, an agricultural career technical education unit to assist school districts in the establishment and maintenance of certain educational programs. Existing law requires the department to adopt rules and regulations relating to agricultural career technical education.

This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation relating to agricultural career technical education.

Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:

SECTION 1.  

It is the intent of the Legislature to enact
legislation relating to agricultural career technical education.
