An act relating to water.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL’S DIGEST

AB 2179, as introduced, Gray. Water.

Existing law establishes the State Water Resources Control Board and the 9 California regional water quality control boards as the principal state agencies with authority over matters relating to water quality. Existing law also provides various provisions governing water rights.

This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation affecting the appropriation of water.

Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
