Existing law grants the Department of Transportation the full possession and control of all state highways, and authorizes the department to construct all state highways.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to these provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
Section 90 of the Streets and Highways Code is
2amended to read:
The department shall have full possession and control of
4all state highways and all property and rights in property acquired
5for state highway purposes. The department is authorized and
6directed to lay out and construct all state highways between the
7termini designated by law and on the locationsbegin delete asend delete determined by
8the commission.
