           SUBJECT  :    Senate Standing Rule 12:  standing committees

           DIGEST  :    This resolution revises Senate Rule 12 relative to  
          standing committees by decreasing the numerical membership to  
          the Senate Business, Professions and Economic Development  
          Committee from 10 to 9 members.

           ANALYSIS  :    Senate Rule 12 provides for the numerical  
          membership and subject matter of each of the Senate Standing  
          Committees.  At the present time, the membership for the Senate  
          Business, Professions and Economic Development Committee is 10  
          members.

          This resolution revises Senate Rule 12 relative to standing  
          committees by decreasing the numerical membership to the Senate  
          Business, Professions and Economic Development Committee from 10  
          to 9 members.
