           DIGEST  :    This resolution revises Senate Rule 12 relative to  
          standing committees by changing the numerical membership of the  
          Education Committee from 9 members to 7 members.

           ANALYSIS  :    Senate Rule 12 provides for the numerical  
          membership and the subject matters of each of the Senate  
          standing committees.  The current numerical membership pursuant  
          to Senate Rule 12 for the Education Committee is 9 members.

          This resolution changes the numerical membership of the  
          Education Committee to 7 members.
