           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "Lance Corporal Javier Olvera  
          Memorial Highway," the portion of State Route 14 in the City of  
          Palmdale between the south junction with State Route 138 and  
          West Avenue O8.

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor State Highway Account costs to Caltrans to make and erect  
          appropriate signs; these costs are fully covered by donations.

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors Lance Corporal Olvera, who was  
          killed in action in Afghanistan on August 8, 2009.
