           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "Signal Hill Police Officer  
          Anthony 'Tony' Giniewicz Memorial Highway," the portion of  
          Interstate 405 from Atlantic Avenue to Cherry Avenue in Los  
          Angeles County.

          FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor State Highway Account costs to Caltrans to make and erect  
          appropriate signs; these costs are fully covered by donations.

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors Officer Giniewicz, who was shot in  
          the line of duty on February 19, 1985 and, as a result, was  
          paralyzed from the chest down. Officer Giniewicz died on  
          December 7, 2011.
