           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "Bicyclist John Mello Memorial  
          Bridge," the Mad River Bridges on State Route 101 in Humboldt  
          County.  

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor State Highway Account costs to Caltrans to make and erect  
          appropriate signs; these costs are fully covered by donations.

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose.  This measure honors Mr. Mello, a bicycling enthusiast  
          who was killed while cycling on February 13, 2013 near Patrick's  
          Pont State Park.
