           SUMMARY  

          This measure designates, as the "CHP Officer Gerald N. Harris  
          Memorial Interchange," the interchange at State Route 99 and  
          eastbound State Route 58 in Kern County.

           FISCAL EFFECT  

          Minor State Highway Account costs to Caltrans to make and erect  
          appropriate signs; these costs are fully covered by donations.

           COMMENTS  

           Purpose  . This measure honors CHP Officer Harris, who was killed  
          in the line of duty on February 27, 1974.
