ARGUMENTS IN SUPPORT : According to the author's office, the
second week of March coincides with the initial lay-off
notification deadline of March 15 which makes it difficult to
honor administrators for their work. The author's office
believes that this is a stressful period and therefore is not a
good time to honor administrators-some who are tasked with
serving the lay-off notices to employees, including other
administrators. The author's office argues changing the date to
October coincides with Boss's Day when many administrators are
already being celebrated.
